AUTUMN BLUES

Hey all, or at least the ones of you that are still checking in on this blog occasionally. I know it hasn't been much to check in on. I've been checked out for a while, sorry about that. Time just hasn't been on my side. The renovation have dragged out, and we are now way past deadline. Finding good and reliant contractors are hard. As this was a quite large renovation we wanted to be sure the contractor had all needed competence within it's organization, so that our involvement would merely be on a more strategic level, no micro management. That's not what happened. It turned out the contractor had no what so ever skills in planning and managing the day to day work at site. When the date for move-in had been postponed three times and the apartment still isn't close to be finished, we had to take some drastic measures. So now the contractor is fired and a new team lead by me is coming in next week. Hoping for better luck and skills second time around...

Of to something more pleasant, last week I spent a lot of time styling a villa for an upcoming sale. There is always a challenge styling a place using whats at hand from the clients private furniture. Trying to catch the personality and enhance the features of the house. I think it turned out quite well, what do you think?
