WISHFUL THINKING AND DAYDREAMING...

Hi guys, it´s Friday, the sun is shining and I just got home after a work out. Life is good! As you already know our apartment is up for sale and we just bought a new one, situated in a more luscious and green part of the city than where we are now. Can´t wait to start the renovation of the new place. Which is really necessary, there has been practically no work done in that apartment since the house was built in the early 30´s. So there is a lot to do but also a lot of original features preserved that I love. I just started making a wishlist over all the things I would love to get for this apartment...

I´ve been in love with these Superleggera chairs designed by the late genius Gio Ponti for as long as I can remember. Maybe now is the time to make that investment...

These cabinets from Lidhults has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks. Traditional, yet modern. Timeless. I´m not sure about the knobs though...

Have this idea of keeping it pretty simple in the bathrooms. White glossy tiles in standard sizing for the walls and carrera marble tiles on the floor. Maybe some marble mosaic in the shower area. Used the hexagon mosaic for the apartment we´re now and really like the look and feel of those, so maybe I just go for those again.

Have been going back and forth on these tiger velvet cushions. Couldn´t really decide if they were a bit too much or a must have. And I think I need to have these.... I´ll let you know what I decide. Have to go now, running late for a photo shoot of these lovely pieces.

Happy Friday all!

IT´S A WRAP...

It´s such an exhilarating feeling when the last photo has been shot. The last look is completed and outcome is brilliant. That´s just how it was on today´s bathroom photo shoot. Look after look feelt just soo right and everyone in the team delivered on top. Below are some sneak peaks, the rest will be published in Sköna Hem, I´ll let you know later on in what issue.

Now the weekend can begin...

Towels, towels, towels. The bed worked as storing area...

I love the Aesop products, they have a sustainable way of producing their products in consideration to nature and humans, their packaging is beautiful and they smell delicious.

An ashtray from Zara Home worked as a container of bling bling.

WEEKEND, WEEK START

Monday, new week, new challenges, new opurtunities. I´ve heard from a close source that it´s all about your attitude that determines if you consider Monday beeing the harsh wake up call to reality or the day when you embrace the week ahead and it´s opportunities. I´m trying to adopt the second alternative, being a bit more Monday friendly.

The weekend turned out to have a bit of everything. Since it´s been freezing here for the last couple of days, the kids haven't been super keen on going out. The oldest loves running the sledge, but the youngest consider it too cold when the thermometer sinks below -10. So a lot of hanging with these two little fellows indoors. Having friends over for dinner, working on a upcoming project and checking out the city´s antique dealers.

Working on a upcoming project and searching for inspirational images, coming across this white bathroom with black accents. I like when you can accomplish exclusive looks by the details. Like here, using standard tiles in different sizes and execution to fulfill a refine look.

Made a couple of errands on town, checking out a couple of antique dealers. This one being unfortunately closed. But I loved the entrance. A total off-set to the exclusive and well polished inside.
